The role of the acceptance test manager is to effectively lead the acceptance and field testing functions within Actual Experience. To fulfill this role, the manager must understand the discipline of testing and how to effectively implement a testing process. The manager must manage, implement and maintain an effective testing process. That involves maintaining a test infrastructure that supports a robust and cost-effective testing framework. The acceptance test manager must also perform formal system testing activities including, application installation, function testing, documentation of the testing environment and documentation of testing results.
Work closely with developers and product owner to define the automated testing components that will be used to validate requirements against developed software
Work with team members in adopting and learning test automation techniques
Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organisations’
Agile project lifecycle
Ability to develop effective working partnerships with internal and external teams
Experience of both Web and Python application testing
A full understanding of test and project delivery lifecycles
Previous experience of managing AT Testing teams
Experience in delivering test projects
Good understanding of network topologies and basic networking tools (ping, HTTP GET, NMAP etc)
Candidate should have ability to learn new techniques and technologies quickly
Previous experience with automation tools
Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing Agile environment
Understanding fundamental concepts of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD), User Acceptance Testing
Strong written and communication skills
Execute automated testing on both web front end and back end systems
Eligibility to work in the UK
Interest in digital supply chain analytics and the Business model
Experience of working in an AIM-listed or Start-Up environment would be useful
