The Internal Systems Engineer position requires a driven, self-directed and service-oriented candidate with strong communication and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be able to interact at various organisational levels . We are looking for an innovative thinker, intuitive and able to effectively deal with challenges that ISE role may bring. Working proactively on projects both independently and collaboratively should come naturally.
The day-to-day management and support of internal infrastructure systems and services including personal computers, mobile devices and related systems
Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems
Assist in determining suitable software and hardware to meet user requirements
Provision of new starter and tech refresh equipment
Carry out new starter IT inductions
Management and configuration of the internal lab environment
IP Telephony management and troubleshooting
Ongoing management of Security and Anti-Virus applications in line with relevant industry standards
Management of the MDM platform
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as an IT engineer
Google Account administration
MS Active Directory setup and administration
Microsoft and Mac operating system and application support experience
Firewall and Switch configuration
Able to adapt to a dynamic environment – including meeting emergency business-critical events
Able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality performance
Hands-on technical experience designing and maintaining a corporate network and services
Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Able to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
Experience with some of the following technologies: VMware, Active Directory/SCCM, Linux OS, Cisco, HP/DELL servers, Ubiquiti, IP Telephony, Wireless networks, MDM
Experience of ITIL and ISO standards
Experience of using and recording actions in an IT ticketing system
£25k - £35k
