The Role

We are seeking someone with extensive and varied testing skills to provide a solid contribution to ensuring the continuing quality of our product.

You will need to possess deep knowledge of testing methodologies and be experienced in automated and manual testing in all its facets.

This is a chance to work on an innovative product that is truly helping to define the future of high-quality digital services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execution of manual and automatic, integration and user tests rigorously and in accordance with specification.
  • Creating scenarios from user stories.
  • Testing across a wide variety of software: APIs, User Interfaces, Data handling.
  • Functionally testing new features to agreed quality levels.
  • Applying regression testing as required in key points of the release cycle.
  • Supporting Actual Experience teams such as the Service Desk and Consultants with information relating to issues.
Skills Profile
  • Ability to execute manual tests from scripted scenarios.
  • Knowledge of HTTP and Web Services.
  • Basic Knowledge of version control systems, ideally Git.
  • Must be a self-starter, helping to drive process improvement and be part of a team that’s making innovative changes.
  • Experience with test automation in JavaScript and test automation tools; for example, Cucumber, Selenium.
  • Understanding of networks, of ICMP and TCP would be useful.
  • Knowledge of creating and configuring proxies in various guises and configurations. 
  • Experience of using the Git version control system.
  • Experience of working across operating systems comprising Windows, Mac, Linux and iOS.
  • Knowledge of working with agile projects, preferably with Kanban techniques.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins CI system.
